Emily and Andy

The following is an authentic Texas love story between an uptown girl and a down-to-earth guy.  It all began with some mighty fine bling on her finger.  Well...at least that's where this story began.

(this post is guest written by Mrs. Vita, sister of the bride and wife of the photographer)

Before ya know it, Andy was polishin' his shoes and dressin' for the big day.  As you can see below, he set his shoes to rest on a chair that he made with his own down-to-earth hands.

Meanwhile, back at Sisterdale Dance Hall, the lovely Emily was gettin' all gussied up.

Miss Claire, mother of the bride, not only coordinated the entire event - she handmade practically all of the details.  She's not advertising yet, but I'd be asking her anyway if I were young and engaged like you.

She even made that flower girl dress worn my my darlin' daugher and the pillow carried by my little dude.  They were a little bashful, but they made it down the aisle.

The ceremony had all of the vintage, elegant charm that Emily had dreamed of and Miss Claire worked so hard to create.  It was breathtaking.

So sweet and happy, starting their life together.  It moved the bridesmaids to tears.

Baylor Chi-O tradition.  Apparently it's been performed a good many times this year.

And, so ends the tale of this happy couple and their big day.  Here's to many more happy days!

Thanks so much to Rachel Chaney for shooting with my man.
