When I met with Michelle, I knew she would be a blast to work with. She is sweet and kind, oh - and she’s a model. She really is one of  nicest brides I've worked with.  Her little lady, who is a mini model, was hilarious and kept Julio and I laughing the whole time.  It was nice to see Michelle and her little lady and her new daughter Alexa showing love to one another.  Alexa knocked it out of the park with an amazing speech. Stephen is not too fond of being in front of the camera, but I hope these sweet shots of life make him think that it was worth it J Congratulations you two!

Elizabeth & David
In the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of working with this sweet family. From a 90th birthday party to traveling to their family ranch in West Texas for Senior Portraits, to heading east to A&M for engagement photos, to capturing this beautiful wedding, it’s been great. I love all of their personalities, and being able to document how much they love each other. Knowing them so well helped me to especially enjoy shooting Elizabeth and David’s wedding. I hope to be the Hawkins family photographer for many more years.

Future brother giving the groom a noogie.

Mr. Hawkins and his little lady.

Elizabeth's Mom was amazing with the details.

Photobooth fun!

So much for cutting the cake.

Liz's sisters manage to be sweet and funny in their musical duo with a mandolin.

Liz's face cracks me up on this one, and so do the guys in the background.

Liz's Dad wrote her a super-sweet song. Even Nikki Peterson and I were tearing up.

Grandma gettin' down.

David wasn't feeling too well at the start of the day. I think his new Bride made him feel much better. Looks like he's headed out with some aspirin and a bottle of champagne.

LeAnn and Josiah

LeeAnn told me in our meeting that she wanted art work for her walls - I was happy to hear this! I had never had the chance to shoot a B+G post wedding. So we headed out to nature and spent some time in the sun.

Linc + Madi

It didn't take long for these two, layed-back peeps to realize that they were mad for each other.  Their wedding took place on an unusually lovely January day at the Tapatio Springs Clubhouse. Lincoln was all smiles and Madison was as cool as could be. I love when hip new people join the family!

Mmmm... Donuts

My cuñados!

Simon and Juliet are getting to be pros.

I've never seen Lincoln this happy.

Danny and Claire have now married off their their whole crew.

My main man doubled as the Ring Bearer and a break dancer.

Rachel Chaney, thank you so much for going to bat for me. You hit it out of the park. It's not easy shooting a family wedding. See below:) Sometimes you just want to hang out and enjoy parts of the day and other times that love for shooting keeps you busy. So in having you there I was able to do both. Thanks!

This was the first of a double header wedding weekend! The Day's are a super fun sweet couple. They met playing softball together. He spotted her on the field and the rest is history! Thanks for having me at your wedding; your families were so kind. Here's to happy days and lots of home runs!

Bailey Bee

It was great hanging out with Bailey and her mom on a warm January day in B-Town. I got to know the B family through Geneva School and I shot their family photo a few years back. Bailey was a good sport and her mom was an awesome help. I hope you guys have a amazing 2012!

It's been great working with Cordillera Living Magazine for the past few years. Here is the latest feature. Phil Lane is the new GM at KSAT 12. Pick up the magazine around town and check out his story.

I did a lot of Christmas cards this year and loved them all.  But this one...this one stands out a bit more. My friends Paul and Erica are a very creative, cool couple. Paul skeched a concept out and and some how we made it happen. Unicorns are not easy to find and it's not often that you get to have swords and pretty pink clouds in the same photo. Here's to a Magical Christmas - God Bless.
